Bachelor of Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology (B.MRIT) is an undergraduate Four Year professional programme designed to prepare students with the knowledge and practical skills required in diagnostic imaging and radiological procedures. The course provides comprehensive training in conventional radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasonography, and other imaging modalities, along with radiation physics, radiation protection, patient positioning, and image processing. Students are trained to operate and assist in the use of modern imaging equipment while ensuring patient safety and quality diagnostic services. Graduates are prepared to work as skilled radiology and imaging professionals in hospitals, diagnostic centres, and other healthcare institutions.
Eligibility:
10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) from a recognized
board.
Scope:
Graduates can work as radiology technologists in hospitals, diagnostic imaging
centers, and radiology departments. There are also opportunities in teaching,
research, and further studies like M.Sc Radiology.
